"I'm a artist about nature,
I'm a scientist about the world."
-me, age 4

When I was a kid, all I wanted to do was learn, play, and create.

Not much has changed.

Except that what I want to create now... is meaning.

My path to UX makes perfect sense…
in retrospect.
But you can check that out on
LinkedIn.

So what’s interesting about me?
I don’t know. My secret Twitter account is followed by three members of the Wu-Tang Clan; I’ve been to a two-day rap festival in Burma; I’ve eaten bugs, iguana, raw tripe, dog, and afterbirth soup (OK, look—I didn’t know I was eating dog or afterbirth soup until it was too late. That’s what happens when you hang with locals in SE Asia. And the afterbirth was from a cow. Why does everybody ask that?); I was a 5’6” captain of the high school football team; my first car was a Winnebago; my second car was a motorcycle; I’d rather sit at the kids’ table during holiday meals.

But the most interesting thing about me is that I’m interested.
The most exciting thing about me is I’m excited.
The smartest thing about me is how much I still have to learn.
